Our History

Aristotle Capital Management, LLC was formed in 2010, but its history dates back over 25 years to when the main principals of the company first worked together in the 1990s. The Aristotle Capital team employs a bottom-up, fundamental investment approach in the management of U.S., international and global equity.

In 2014, affiliate Aristotle Capital Boston, LLC was formed as a Boston-based registered investment advisor to manage Small Cap and Small/Mid (SMID) Cap Equity strategies. The majority of the Aristotle Boston team came from Eagle Boston Investment Management. They continue to utilize the same disciplined philosophy and process in managing small and SMID cap strategies.

In 2016, affiliate Aristotle Atlantic Partners, LLC was formed. The team is a Sarasota-based registered investment advisor and manages Large Cap Growth, Core Equity and Focus Growth strategies. The Aristotle Atlantic team came from Deutsche Asset Management. They identify companies that they believe are poised to benefit from secular themes, product cycles or industry trends.

In 2023, Aristotle Investment Services, LLC was formed as an independent registered investment advisor. Aristotle Investment Services serves as an advisor and administrator to the Aristotle Funds under Aristotle Funds Series Trust.

In 2023, affiliate Aristotle Pacific Capital, LLC was established as a Newport Beach, California-based registered investment advisor through an acquisition from Pacific Life. The Aristotle Pacific team invests in corporate credit securities on the basis of fundamental credit analysis with the objective of identifying and realizing relative value. They manage fixed-income strategies, including floating-rate loans, CLOs, strategic credit, high-yield, core plus and short duration bond.

All affiliates operate collectively under a unified platform known as Aristotle. Each affiliate is an independent investment advisor.

Combined client assets below are as of June 30, 2025. The term “Aristotle” is used to represent the family of affiliates which is comprised of Aristotle Capital Management, LLC (Aristotle Capital), Aristotle Capital Boston, LLC (Aristotle Boston), Aristotle Atlantic Partners, LLC (Aristotle Atlantic), Aristotle Pacific Capital, LLC (Aristotle Pacific), and Aristotle Investment Services, LLC (Aristotle Investment Services); which collectively operate under a unified platform known as Aristotle. Each firm is an independent investment adviser registered under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training.
